The Wellingborough and East Northants School Sport Partnership is part of Northamptonshire Sport and the Northamptonshire School Sport Partnership. The Partnership includes 41 Primary and Junior Schools, 11 Infant Schools and 9 Secondary Schools. Over 64% of eligible Schools achieved the School Games Mark Award in 2014-15 including all Secondary Schools.

Based at Manor School Sports College, a community focussed Academy the partnership supports Schools to deliver high quality PE and School Sport through a co-ordinated local delivery system. Manor School Sports College, Raunds is the Lead School for Leadership, Coaching and Volunteering in Northamptonshire. Manor was awarded 2014 Secondary Sport School of the Year at the Northamptonshire Sports Awards. The School works closely with Northamptonshire Sport in the development of Young Coaches and Leaders across the County. Manor School were awarded School Games Mark Gold for 2014-15 and is a trailblazer School for the PE2020 Healthy Active Minds project.

Friars Academy in Wellingborough, is the Lead School for Project Ability in the County. The School was chosen in recognition of the PE department's commitment to engaging all young pupils in PE and School Sport. In 2013, Friars Academy was named as School of the Year in the Northamptonshire Sports Awards and have achieved the School Games Mark Gold award for two years running.
