For individuals who have made a significant impact through their coaching in the community over the past 12 months. This can include coaching teams / individuals to relative success, a coach that has made a significant contribution to the community, club or organisation or a coach who has had an impact raising the participation of ‘inactive’ participants in the community.
For individuals who have made a significant contribution to a community or club project / programme and / or a significant contribution to volunteering at sporting events over the past 12 months. This could be someone who is new to volunteering or an existing volunteer. This award is open to all volunteers within a club / community organisation - not just coaches

For individuals who have been actively volunteering in either a school, community or club environment over the past 12 months and have shown leadership qualities and potential for the future. Delivery in the community would be considered an advantage.
This award recognises an individual who has significantly improved their health and wellbeing by becoming more active either through sport, exercise or active recreation in the past year and has a good news story that will inspire other people.
For individuals who have had success at an elite level in the past 12 months – this can be county, regional, national or international success or representation. People who have also shown great sporting advocacy and leadership qualities (i.e. as a captain) can also be a contributing factor.
This award recognises the impact made by schools utilising the Primary PE and School Sport Premium funding. School must demonstrate the impact the Premium has achieved in areas such as the quality of teaching and learning in the curriculum, increasing curricular and extra-curricular opportunities for all students, improving the health and wellbeing of pupils, access to School Games and Change 4 Life to embed PE & sport within the school ethos and have enabled students to access community based opportunities.
This award recognises a Primary school that has made a significant impact with its delivery and commitment to PE and School Sport, has used programmes such as the School Games and Change 4 Life to embed PE & sport within the school’s ethos and has enabled students to access community based opportunities.
This award recognises a Secondary school that has made a significant impact with its delivery and commitment to PE and School Sport. The school must demonstrate it has provided a broad and quality PE curriculum for all students, have strong cross curricular links, have used programme such as the School Games, Change 4 Life and Young leadership to embed PE & Sport across the school, have taken a lead within an area / Partnership and have enabled students to access community based opportunities
For clubs that have made a significant impact / achievement over the past 12 months. This could be by achieving Club Accreditation, making a significant contribution to the community or delivered a successful project that has increased participation / volunteering.

For teams that have achieved success over the past 12 months. Organisations should demonstrate the successes of a particular team and put that success into context. This applies to amateur / community status teams.
This award celebrates our elite sports men and women. Nominees must have either been born in Northamptonshire, currently live in the county or represent a club / team based in Northamptonshire. In a slight twist to the format this year, the panel has selected an individual that they think deserves to be recognised.
