Parents in Sport Week is an annual campaign ran by the CPSU which raises awareness of the role of parents' in youth sport. During the week the CPSU provides resources with information for clubs, coaches and parents to help ensure children have a safe and positive sporting experience every time they attend training or matches.
Parents in Sport Week 2020

The theme for Parents in Sport Week 2020 (5th-11th October) is 'Let's talk about keeping children safe in sport.' The CPSU aim to reach as many parents as possible, spreading the word on important topics such as safeguarding, and how to become a 'Great Sports Parent.'
They are also asking that parents make the Sports Parents Promise – a 3-point pledge to their children to listen to them about their concerns, check clubs are safe to enjoy, and encourage their children to take part in a positive way.
