Mick George Sports Award in partnership with Northamptonshire Sport.

We are delighted to announce the successful applicants for the second phase of the Mick George Sports Award in partnership with Northamptonshire Sport.

Matthew Peleszok from Northamptonshire Sport said 'We are delighted to have worked alongside Mick George to grant this funding to a range of organisations across Northamptonshire. We are confident that the money allocated will provide new or improved opportunities for people become physically active and enjoy the settings they are based within'

Banbury Sailing Club (Daventry) – Purchase of sailing boats for youth membership.

Corby Kingswood Junior Club – Facility improvements after Arson damaged site in 2019

Corby Town Girls – Storage equipment

Geddington Cricket Club – Facility improvements

NCAAC Gymnastics Club – Carpeting some of the training floors for performance development.

Spratton Football Club – Lighting support for winter training.

NCAAC said "Thank-you very much to the Mick George Sports fund for choosing NCAAC Gymnastics to accept the grant. We are extremely happy and it will go towards making the gym a safer place around the platform area of our pit."

Banbury Sailing Club said "Our youth section will hugely benefit from the addition of an RS Feva dinghy to our training fleet, this has only been made possible by the grant awarded from the Mick George Sport Fund. Thank you"
