New sessions launching to support strength and balance in older adults across Northamptonshire

The Get Up & Go Programme continues to expand across Northamptonshire with a further four brand new classes launching across the county. Using the evidence based OTAGO Strength and Balance programme, our Get Up & Go classes are underway in Northamptonshire providing physical support to those with strength or balance issues.

Our four brand new sessions are set out to enable us to broaden the reach of our classes across Northamptonshire, and allow us to heighten our impact with supporting the strength and balance development of older adults with the support of qualified instructors.

Are you suffering with balance issues?
Are you struggling to complete your day to day tasks?
Are you having difficulties getting up from your chair?
Have you suffered a fall that has knocked your confidence?
Would you like to get out and enjoy a group atmosphere whilst exercising?

If the answer is YES to any of the above, then one of our classes would be perfect for you!!

Brand new classes are as follows:
- Towcester Centre for Leisure – Thursdays, 11.00am, £3.00pp.
- Cornmarket Hall, Kettering – Wednesdays, 10.30am, £3.00pp.
- The Doubles, Daventry – Starting Monday 9th September, 2.00pm, FREE.
- Lings Forum, Northampton - Starting September 2019 - Email Fraser.Lodge@firstforwellbeing.co.uk for further information.

None of these four local to you? Visit the Get Up & Go website for a list of all available classes across the county: www.Northamptonshiresport.org/GetUpandGo
