Athletes required for Northants Rotary Disability Games team!

The Rotary Club of Northampton West are looking for male and female athletes with a disability, or sensory impairment to represent their team at the 2019 District 1070 Disability Games which is being held at the Stamford Endowed School on Sunday 14th April.
The Games will comprise of 10 different events in total of which each athlete is allowed to compete in a maximum of 3. The events are Archery, boccia, darts, kurling, air rifle shooting, swimming, table tennis, weightlifting, a wheelchair dash and a wheelchair slalom. No previous experience is required in these events to take part other than swimming where competitors must already be able to confidently swim at least 25 metres.
Some of these events are competed in as one team, but others are split in to junior male/female (for those aged under 16 years old) and senior male/female (for those aged 16 and over).
In each of the wheelchair events there will be 3 different competitions. One for motorised wheelchair users, one for non – motorised wheelchair users and an open competition for those requiring assistance.
