Shaping the Future Conference – British Judo

British Judo are proud to announce the launch of our "Shaping the Future" National Conference for Coaches featuring world-renowned EJU expert Hiroshi Katanishi.

The aim of the conference is targeted at raising technical standards through the provision of quality technical programmes, appropriate grading schemes, structured competitive opportunities delivered by a technically competent, highly trained workforce.

Over the past few years, we have been aspiring to significantly raise the standards of our coaches through our coaching programmes. These programmes have produced the results that we had initially aimed for and we now have a cohort of highly qualified and passionate coaches who have the ability, skills and enthusiasm to greatly contribute to the development of the sport.

This Conference, the first of two to be held in 2018, is the beginning of a process of engagement that will enable you to contribute to the future development and implementation of technical programmes within the BJA.

The Coaching sessions will be led by European Judo Union Coaching expert, Hiroshi Katanishi.

Hiroshi Katanishi has just been awarded his 8th Dan in recognition of his expertise in judo and the variety of work that he does in seminars across the world. Katanishi conveys his expertise in a way that is appealing to all, so book now to avoid missing out on this unique experience.
