Corby Netball Club 24 hour Charity Netball Match!
Posted: Thu, 29 Sep 2016 14:34
Corby Netball Club are looking for local teams (minimum Age 9 years old) to go head-to-head against one another in an attempt to continually play netball for 24 Hours in aid of a local boy called Owen Trickett who was born with a rare condition called MECP2 duplication syndrome.
This challenge is aimed at established teams, people who have not played for a long time, work colleagues, even groups of friends. Our aim is to raise funds for an eye gaze in order for Owen to communicate with his family.
His condition causes him to have global delay, respiratory problems and daily seizures. Owen's condition is sadly a life limiting one that causes him to regularly be in and out of hospital. Owen requires care around the clock.
Matches will be played on an hourly basis and the club is are inviting everyone to help them raise as much money as possible so sign up and get involved!
