Level 2 KS1/2 Inclusive New Age Kurling Inclusive Competition

Northampton School Sports Partnership hosted its first ever KS1/2 Inclusive New Age Kurling Competition on Wednesday 9th December 2015 at Danes Camp Leisure Centre.

Kurling is a competitive sport that can also be played socially. It is fully inclusive, played by disabled and non-disabled people, with no barriers to age or gender. The game can be played in a range of different settings and helps develop a range of physical and team work skills.

8 teams competed for the opportunity to represent Northampton at the Level 3 Winter School Games - the atmosphere of the competition was amazing and all those who participated had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The results were;

1st: Queen Eleanor Primary Academy - B Team*

2nd: Lings Primary School*

3rd: Queen Eleanor Primary Academy - A Team

* Schools qualify for the Level 3 School Games
