Hit the Pitch with Northants Baseball Club

Northants Baseball Club are running a series of new sessions to help introduce more people in Northamptonshire to the sport of Baseball.

Hugely popular in the United States, but actually originating from England, Baseball is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of nine players who take turns playing offense (batting and baserunning) and defense (pitching and fielding).

The club, who have recently moved to their new home field at St Crispins in Duston, already run a successful Adult Men's Baseball team, but are now looking to expand by setting up a Youth Section and a Women's Softball team.

The following sessions have been set up to cater for new players:

  • Adult Baseball - Every Thursday, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
  • Ladies Softball - Every Thursday, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
  • Youth (7-17 years) Baseball - Every Monday, 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Sessions cost £2 for participants and take place at St Crispins Sports Field.
