Hollowell Sailing Club Invite the Public to Set Sail

Come and enjoy a free introductory session of dinghy sailing at one of the most picturesque reservoirs in the region! Hollowell Sailing Club is preparing to Push the Boat Out and welcome visitors from 11am to 4pm on 9th May for a full day including introductory sailing tasters, an all day BBQ and refreshments. Club members will display a range of boats which are regularly sailed on the reservoir and be available to answer queries about how to get into dinghy sailing.

An approved Royal Yachting Association Training Centre, Hollowell Sailing Club offers a comprehensive range of courses in dinghy sailing, windsurfing and power boating and all the details of the courses available can be obtained on the day and via the club's website.

Still proud of winning the prestigious RYA Club of the Year Award in 2012, Hollowell Sailing Club continues to go from strength to strength with 45+ boats out regularly sailing and competing in weekly club racing. More than 500 members enjoy being part of an affordable and accessible fun-filled activity for all the family. Come along and enjoy being part of this growing sport!

Contact Elaine Coulton, Membership Secretary Tel: 01604 780026 for more information or visit the website www.hollowellsc.org.uk - Visitors are warmly welcome to join on the day and enjoy an evening meal at around 6.30pm together with members of the club.
