Local resident is a finalist at the British Ethnic Diversity Sports Awards

Kettering Volleyball Club's Club Chairman; Lincoln Dokwani has been nominated for the Unsung Hero Award at the first British Ethnic Diversity Sports Awards (BEDSA) taking place at the Ricoh Arena on the 21st February 2015.

Lincoln was nominated in recognition of his outstanding work in the local community and for Kettering Volleyball Club. Chairperson of the club, his tireless commitment to both the town and club is clear to see. A regular volunteer at events on all scales, Lincoln has achieved great success through helping to re-establish the junior section at Kettering Volleyball Club as well as regularly refereeing volleyball matches throughout Northamptonshire in BUCS, National Volleyball League matches and at a Volleyball England's major domestic competitions. He is also a trustee of the Volleyball England Foundation, which is a small charity whose aims are to help raise funds to help support young players and clubs who may be having some financial difficulties. He is always a committed, hardworking and reliable local volunteer and is a great ambassador to the sport of volleyball.
