Jog Northants is a countywide programme aimed at helping beginners start jogging.
We are proud to offer many jogging groups throughout Northamptonshire to help those who are new to running, or have not exercised in a long time.
All the groups start with a mixture of walking and jogging and are a great way to get fit without having to spend a lot of money. All the groups are led by qualified and insured leaders who organise the route, meeting place and offer help and guidance to help you achieve your goals.
If you are thinking of starting your own, or assisting with a current jogging group, we can help you choose the right Jog Leaders course for you.
We have one 3-2-1 permanently marked running route at Stanwick Lakes so you can run the route any time to suit you!

This course is for coaches who are primarily working with runners up to and including event group development stage. To attend this course, applicants must have completed the LiRF.
There are four contact days, but attendees will also be required to engage in pre-course work, supported practice and assessment preparation.
CiRF has a broad application to non track based endurance running rather than specific events or distances.
After the course you will be qualified and insured to plan a progressive training programme to help runners towards their specific goals.
LiRF – CiRF Bridge Workshop
To help you with the transition of completing the LiRF and progressing through to the CiRF, we are offering a 3 hour workshop which will cover an overview of some of the main topics taught on the CiRF. This will give you a basic understanding of what is covered in the course to help you decide if it's for you.
The workshop will cover the transition from leaders to coach, an introduction to different learning styles and session planning.
