Do you have a passion for sport and physical activity and want to shape the way these can help to improve the lives of people in Northamptonshire? Northamptonshire Sport is currently recruiting Board Members to the Northamptonshire Sport Executive Board, including a Chair and Senior Independent Board Member , to drive the implementation of the new ‘Northamptonshire Framework for Physical Activity and Sport’.

Board Members will have considerable experience, capabilities and connections within the public, voluntary or commercial sectors and the ability to understand strategic issues influencing the development of physical activity and sport. A complementary mix of skills and competencies amongst Board Members are sought.

Board Members will attend about five meetings each year plus additional time for preparatory work. Time commitments for committees, if applicable, would not exceed three meetings each year and each meeting typically runs to about two hours.

Board Members are appointed for a period of up to three years. Appointments are renewable for 2 further fixed terms of up to three years.
