About Assistant Sports Development Officer
LRS are seeking to recruit an Assistant Sports Development Officer to support the delivery of sport, physical activity or health related programmes and initiatives helping to ensure that they are delivered to meet the needs of our local communities.
With a relevant BTEC higher/NVQ4 or degree you will have a proven track record of working in a physical activity, sport or community development setting. In addition, you will have had experience of supporting the management of physical activity and sports programmes and events, as well as a history of working together with partner organisations.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of exciting national and local development programmes, which may include: Active Together Physical Activity Campaign, Targeted Physical Activity Programmes (e.g Early Years, This Girl Can), Universal Programmes (e.g. outdoor activity, digital activity)
