  • For the benefit of people residing in England.

For all the details and to see if your organisation is eligible, please visit the Crowdfunder website.

Sport England Funding

Sport England have also released a number of other funding streams in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. These include:

Return to Play: Small Grants: This fund will make awards, using National Lottery funding, of between £300 and £10,000, from a total pot of £10m, to help sport and activity groups, clubs and organisations respond to the immediate challenges of returning to play in a coronavirus-safe way.

Return to Play: Community Asset Fund: This fund will make awards of between £10,001 and £50,000 from a pot of £5m to help local sports clubs and organisations adapt and open important places and spaces to help their local community return to play safely.

National Governing Bodies

Many National Governing Bodies (NGB's) have made funding available to their clubs, either through loans or grants, in response to Covid-19. For example, England Rugby has made interest free loans of up to £10,000 available to its clubs, whilst also allocating £1 million to Constituent Bodies to distribute to clubs in the forms of grants, whilst England Athletics has launched their 'Club Support Fund' to help those most in need.

These are just two examples, so check on your NGB's website to see if they have any funding available. A full list of recognised NGB's in the UK can be found on the document below.
