National Governing Bodies
Many National Governing Bodies (NGB's) have made funding available to their clubs, either through loans or grants, in response to Covid-19. For example, England Rugby has made interest free loans of up to £10,000 available to its clubs, whilst also allocating £1 million to Constituent Bodies to distribute to clubs in the forms of grants, whilst England Athletics has launched their 'Club Support Fund' to help those most in need.
These are just two examples, so check on your NGB's website to see if they have any funding available. A full list of recognised NGB's in the UK can be found on the document below.
Our funding page on the Northamptonshire Sport website is packed with great funding ideas, both from us and our partners, including the The Mick George Sports Fund which provides grants for community sports projects or developments.
