Northampton Back to Hockey sessions

Northampton Hockey Club’s ‘Back to Hockey’ sessions are restarting on Saturday 2nd September 9 – 10:30am at Moulton College (Gate 3 NN3 7SX). If you are aged 16 and above then these sessions offer an ideal opportunity for you to either get back in to the sport, or be introduced to it for the first time. They only cost £2 per week and are ideal for anyone wanting to get fit in a social environment as each Back to Hockey session burns up to 450 calories.

Northampton Back to Hockey sessions

It doesn't matter if you're new to the game or haven't played for a while the 'Back to Hockey' coach will gently guide the group through a series of fun and friendly sessions. They will also take into account participant's fitness levels when planning and delivering each session. The activities involved will help to improve fitness over time. They allow people the chance to exercise as part of a team with a focus on fun, fitness and friendship.

Participants should wear comfortable sports clothing and trainers. The club will provide sticks, but if you have your own stick you are more than welcome to bring it. They also recommend taking a still soft drink or bottle of water as well. Shin pads and a gum shield are not essential to begin with, but participants can bring them if they have them.
