In the context of sport and physical activity, the term 'Coach' encompasses a whole host of roles including Activator, Leader and Instructor and therefore when you see the name 'Coach' included in our material, we are referring to anyone who is involved with leading physical activity and sport.

Northamptonshire Sport offers a range of Coaching Support and Services

If you are interested in becoming a sports coach, or if you are already a sports coach looking to develop further, find out more about the Coach Development support available to you. This includes information on Grants for Coaches including our Inspiring Bursary Scheme which is to help up skill a more diverse coaching and volunteering workforce in our county.

We also offer regular courses including First Aid, Safeguarding and Time to Listen. Our Training Courses Page has a full listing of courses that may be coming up in your area.
