What is Clubmark?
Clubmark is the universally acknowledged cross sport accreditation scheme for community sports clubs run by Sport England's Club Matters. To find out more about Clubmark visit the Club Matters website.
Clubmark is awarded to clubs that are able to demonstrate the required criteria and indicates that clubs have:
- High standards of welfare, equity, coaching and management
- Created a sports club infrastructure that is safer, stronger and more successful
It shows that clubs provide the right environment which ensures the welfare of members and encourages everyone to enjoy sport and stay involved throughout their lives.
An accredited club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages as well as helping parents and carers know that they're choosing the right club for their young people.
12,000 clubs across the country are already Clubmark accredited. If you would like to find out more about how you can join them, click here.
