What is Basketball?
Basketball is a game played by two teams of usually five players each on a rectangular court having a raised basket or goal at each end, points being scored by tossing the ball through the opponent's basket.
The Mission for Basketball England is to govern and enhance the sport of Basketball in England. To encourage and enable people to participate in basketball regardless of their ability, age, gender, status, disability or ethnic background and to lift the performance and quality of basketball throughout England.
