William Heath - WINNER

William is a crucial member of the Northampton COYS touch rugby club and has over the last season took on coaching responsibilities to a group of adults, despite only being 14. He coaches twice a week and this summer established a ladies team at the club, recruiting over 50% of the players and taking them for training and integrating them into the club. He has also developed a Northampton COYS playbook, with animated GIFs for players to follow.

Adam Doughty

Adam has been volunteering for the last 4 years at Kettering Hawks Football club. He is a linesman, a coach to a U15 team, as well as supporting other club coaches. He is part of the club's committee and spend much of his summer preparing pitches – a hard task given the hot and dry conditions leading to large cracks opening up often making pitches unplayable. He helps with whatever is needed to be done.

Issy Owen

Issy has been playing netball for the last 3 years and has recently taken on the role of junior coach, assisting the lead coach with the 7 -8 year old players. Issy is a mature 10 year old who takes her coaching very seriously, the younger players all look up to her, Issy explains what she wants from the girls and has had great results from the teams.

William O'Toole

12 year old William is a Junior Instructor with Daventry Tigers teaching in the beginner's classes. William is an exceptional role model for the junior students as he has made significant progress in the sport following a change in his desire and attitude. He received excellent feedback when he recently instructed a group of adults for his knowledge and his communication
