Sport England - Community Investment Fund

When making investment decisions, the boards look for evidence that projects will help meet regional priorities and support Sport England’s work to get more people involved in sport – with a focus on hard to reach groups – and help them stay involved throughout their lives.

CIF will be replaced by new programmes in April 2009. Sport England will continue to accept Stage 1 CIF applications up to and including 6 January 2009.

If you are considering applying for CIF funding between now and 6 January, it is advisable Sport England office in your region to discuss the likelihood of success before you commit resources to making an application.
