Clubmark

The Athletics Clubmark Accreditation scheme requires clubs to meet specific criteria set for athletics, to show they are a safe, effective and child friendly club. UK Athletics also operates a Clubs: Future development programme. This is not an accreditation scheme. Clubs are encouraged to sign up to Clubs: Future and complete an audit form which will then support them to work towards Clubmark accreditation.

Once a club has committed to work towards the accreditation they receive a Clubmark file in which to collect and collate their evidence to demonstrate how they have met the criteria set.

Clubs are supported by the Club/Coach Development Officer, with meetings being held with each club working towards accreditation throughout the course of the year.
