Is the RFU registered to process CRB checks?
Yes. The RFU will process CRB checks for club coaches and volunteers in Rugby only

Does the RFU have a code of conduct which rugby coaches are expected to sign up to?
No, but clubs should use RFU guidance, which is found on rfu.com.
Clubs are also encouraged to use the Sport England Coaches code of Conduct, which is enclosed in the Clubmark templates pack.

Does the RFU run any volunteer support schemes?
Rugby specific volunteering courses are provided free of charge locally, as are national seminars. The RFU has two full time staff dedicated to volunteer support.
What volunteer support tools are available to assist volunteers?
Value the Volunteer Scheme. Opportunities arise for clubs and constituent bodies to nominate volunteers for special recognition on a local and national basis.

Funding
What funding schemes does the RFU run to support club development?
- Community Club Development programme (CCDP)

Coaching Development
The RFU do not run a coach recognition
Does the RFU run a coach mentoring scheme?
Yes
- Top Coach Mentoring Scheme - 1 coach at Level 3 will obtain guidance throughout the year form a Level 4/5 coach.
- Club Coaching Coordinators Scheme - Support provided for CCC's to ensure that club coaches gain access to all RFU coaching resources.
- Coach developers - Training provided for Coach developers to run the L1 & L2 development seminars within the county.
