Club Accreditation
The FA has its own club accreditation scheme - The FA Charter Standard award. This is available for Clubs and Schools. The FA Charter Standard scheme looks to provide recognition to those clubs who demonstrate:

- Raising Standards
- Reaching excellence
There are three awards, each with their own targets and status that clubs can aim for; Charter Standard Club, Charter Standard Development Clubs and Charter Standard Community Club.

Is the FA registered to process CRB checks?
The FA is registered to process CRB checks for coaches / volunteers in Football and other sports. Checks cost £7.50 each.
The FA will also check Referees and Charter Standard Club volunteers
All checks are carried out through The FA / NSPCC partnership
