Looking to find a local football pitch, athletics track or swimming pool?
Why not try the Active Places website? It allows you to search for sports facilities anywhere in England, in a number of different ways. You can browse an interactive map of the country; search for facilities in your local area, or use the name and address of a specific facility to find out more information. Please be aware that this is the first stage in an ambitious project – Sport England has collected information on over 50,000 facilities already. Currently, the website holds the locations and details for 11 different facility types (see below), and this information is being constantly checked and added to.
