Junior Squash Coaching across the County
Posted: Fri, 10 Feb 2017 11:00
Squash is played by the some of the fittest athletes in the world, who are not only outstandingly skilful but also fast, flexible, and strong. Squash is also unique in that it is the only racquet sport where you share the same space as your opponent, which brings an extra dimension into how the players move around the court. It is a fantastic sport!
Would you like your children to learn how to play squash? In Northamptonshire, we have six junior coaching programmes that run every week. These take place at:
Brackley Squash Club: 10:45am – 12:30pm, Saturday
Dallington Fitness First, Northampton: 10:30am – 12:00pm, Saturday
Daventry Squash Club: 9:00am – 10:30am, Saturday
Diana's Health & Fitness, Wellingborough: 2pm – 3pm, Saturday
Lings Forum, Weston Favell, Northampton: 8:50am – 10:30am, Saturday
Market Harborough Squash Club: 9:00am – 12:00pm Saturday, 4pm – 5pm Wednesday
There are regular matches between each junior club as well, giving you the chance to play competitively in a fun and friendly environment.
Taking it to the next level, you can also attend county coaching which runs once a month from September to April – and from there the county age-group squads are formed.
