Did you know:
- 77% of people in South Northamptonshire don't do enough exercise
- It only takes 30 minutes of enough exercise to increase your heart rate, on 5 separate days of the week to improve your health and wellbeing
- You can break it down into two lots of 15 or three lots of 10 minutes.
Follow these simple steps:
- Find an activity that you enjoy, or try something new
- Do physical activity with your friends, family, partner or work colleagues
- Set yourself a goal in order to stay focused - why not enter a charity walk/run/cycle
- Keep an exercise diary to keep you motivated
- Don't overlook the simple things e.g. brisk walking, cycling and dancing
- Plan your day so you make sure you build your activity into everyday life
- Use time before work or during your lunch hour to keep active
- Always keep some 'kit' or trainers in your car so you never have an excuse!
