Do you want to become a Sports Coach, Official/Referee or Leader?

Do you have a particular passion for sport or physical activity and would like to develop your skills to coach or lead others.

Coach Scholarship Scheme In partnership with Northamptonshire Sport, Corby Reach Out Programme can part fund selected training courses for local residents of Corby to develop their skills as Sports Coaches, Official/Referee or Leader.

The following courses can be up to 75% funded

• NGB level 1
• NGB level 2

Eligibility for this training is as follows:

• Coaches MUST be actively coaching activities which will benefit local communities (Corby) or support the development of sport specific player pathways for example: within a sports club, school / club link or sports development programme.
• Coaches must live or coach within Corby.
• Both paid and voluntary coaches are eligible to apply for funding, however paid coaches will be required to show that funding is not available through their employer, and will be required to demonstrate added value. NB: Scholarships will not be awarded where an individual or organisation will be the beneficiary of any profits generated from subsequent coaching.
