Walking for Health
Walking is a great way to get fit and to reap the benefits of a more active lifestyle. The Corby Borough has a wealth of natural green space including local woods and a country park, providing a variety of settings for walking.
- Walking for Health brings many Benefits including:

- Increased sense of wellbeing
Led Health Walks are an ideal opportunity to walk with like-minded people and give you the motivation to take part. A number of organised group Health Walks take place regularly in rural and town centre locations and are Free to join. Walks generally last between 30-60 minutes. Corby Active has produced a Local Guide to Health Walks detailing general advice, a timetable and maps of local walking routes.

If you would like the opportunity to be a trained walk leader you will be supported and will become part of a network of walk leaders throughout Northamptonshire.
