Getting Started
- If you have been inactive for a while, you may want to start with less strenuous activities such as walking or swimming at a comfortable pace. As your fitness improves you can gradually do more strenuous activity.
- You are more likely to stick with an exercise programme that you enjoy. Not all types of sports or exercise are right for all. Group activities or sports may motivate some, but others may prefer to swim or work in the gym. Choose something you enjoy.
