Schools Swimming Instructor
Northamptonshire Sport is part of Northamptonshire's trailblazing Community Interest Company, 'First for Wellbeing', and offers a range of high quality coaching in school and community environments for both adults and children. Our coaches are trained to deliver a variety of different sports and activities including curriculum based activities in schools.
As a Schools Swimming Instructor you will ensure that all lessons are safe, meet high standards, are suitable for the individuals / groups taking part and, most of all, are fun! You will be confident in teaching a wide range of abilities as well as supporting both pupils and visiting staff to ensure a high quality program is delivered.
An excellent candidate for this post will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding and passion for teaching swimming. You will also be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the necessity for safety, standards, quality and excellence. It is desirable that you will have experience of teaching swimming within a schools based program but not essential – what is key is a demonstration of your potential to do so.
This post is subject to enhanced DBS clearance.
