Are you looking for paid work over the school holidays? Are you looking for a challenge that utilises your key skills of leading a team of Young People during their participation in a life-changing experience?
We are now recruiting for Mentors to work with Young people (age 15-24) who are joining us for the Summer NCS programme!
Mentors will need to be available for at least one of the following 4 week long programmes:
Monday 3rd July - Friday 28th July
Monday 17th July - Friday 11th August
Mentors are responsible for the welfare, support and motivation of a group of up to 15 Young People aged 15-17. You would attend a 2 week residential event (Monday-Friday) plus 2 following weeks facilitating the successful delivery of localised Social Action Projects. Fundamentally, you will be responsible for understanding the individual requirements of the Young People you are mentoring, utilising the information provided by parents and schools.
This is a partially voluntary role. A payment of £1,422 including holiday pay is payable on successful completion of NCS and includes all expenses. This will be paid on completion of the whole project.
