If you thought sailing was all about getting cold and wet and impenetrable jargon, think again. Young or old, fit as a fiddle, living with an impairment, or just with those aches and pains that come with advancing years, there’s a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come and have a go at the great sport of sailing at Pitsford Reservoir on May 20th from 10:30am to 3:30pm at Northampton Sailing Club, NN6 9DG.

There are no limits to who can have a free go at sailing as Northampton Sailing Club, Northampton Sailability and the Northampton Watersports Centre have combined forces to offer a full range of sailing experiences. We've got '8-berth' long boats for a pure passenger experience; if you want to get hands-on, but are a little nervous on the water, we'll have instructors to take you out in stable two-person dinghies that you sit in like an old-school sports car, while the more adventurous will get to try high-performance dinghies.

When you get the taste for our fantastic sport the Watersports Centre offers a range of RYA-accredited courses for all ages and abilities; Beginners, Improvers and Family Sailing Weeks are all available.
