9th June National Car Share Day (NCC Staff)
Why Do your bit for the environment and get involved in this years National Car-Share Day. Go to www.travelsmartcarshare.co.uk - a site that enables you to search for other members to travel to work with.
To mark the day an event will be held at County Hall with Northamptonshire sport and those who are fully registered will receive a free healthy lifestyle goody bag, so why not sign up on the day at the Angel Street entrance from 8.30am-12.30pm. As well as all this you can also take part in a static Bike Time Challenge with the chance to win a mountain bike and learn about how you can develop a healthier lifestyle.

27th June Parallel Games
The inaugral games where over 100 young disabled people will be competing in 4 different sporting evenst, To be held at Arena @ Kettering Conference Centre 10am - 3pm.
28th June The 10th Northamptonshire Youth Games
Over 1000 young people representing the districts of Northamptonshire Sport particpating in 10 different sporting events at Kettering Conference Centre, Athletics Track & Pitch, Kettering Cricket Club and Montsaye School, Rothwell. Opening Ceremony starts at 9.30am and games close at 4.30pm.
