Northamptonshire Coach Scholarship Scheme
The aim of the coach scholarship scheme is to encourage and support the personal and professional development of coaches working in Northamptonshire through subsidising the cost of coach education.
By encouraging more coaches to gain, and progress through National Governing Body coaching qualifications the quality of sports opportunities in Northamptonshire will be enhanced, and more young people will be able to access high quality coaching opportunities.
Scheme Priorities:
The scheme will fund coaches who:
- are coaching children and young people (aged 25 years and younger)
- are delivering sport specific or multi skills activities
- are improving levels of performance in sport
Scholarship amount:
Up to 50% of qualification costs to a maximum of £300

Timescales:
All applications will be considered by the Northamptonshire Club/Coach Development Group, will be the decision making panel. The deadline dates are as follows:
