Clubmark Accreditation

Clubmark is the recognised mark of high quality junior sports clubs

National Governing Bodies of Sport (NGB's) and County Sport Partnerships (CSP's) award Clubmark to proven high quality clubs.  The national scheme has been in place since 2002 and there are now over 4,000 accredited clubs nationwide across 30 different sports.

Clubmark is a cross sport quality accreditation for clubs with junior sections, recognising clubs as safe, effective and child friendly.  It offers minimum operating standards across all sports which will lead to better quality sports club provision for children and young people.

The scheme applies across a wide range of sports, and it is promoted nationally to enable parents, carers and young people to quickly recognise a club that is committed to providing a quality experience.  For a general information sheet about Clubmark click here

Criteria

Clubmark accreditation is awarded to clubs that comply with minimum operating standards in 4 main areas:

  • Club management
