Club Development Road Shows
Club Development Roadshows are taking place across Northamptonshire and will update sports clubs on national and local information relating to club development programmes and support structures. Find out more
A Club for All (Running Sport)
This workshop is key for sports clubs working towards Clubmark (or equivalent) accreditation. This workshop outlines how your club can reach all sections of the community, including young people, older people, those on low incomes, disabled people and people from ethnic minorities. Find out more
Adults Other Than Teachers working in Schools (AOTTS)
This workshop is essential for all sports coaches or AOTTs working in schools. The workshop provides a basic understanding of key components of the national curriculum relating to the delivery of physical education, and addresses the key issues facing sports coaches working in schools. 1st Aid
This is the most popular first aid course offered by the British Red Cross. The programme focuses on key life-saving skills, provides an opportunity to learn the first aid response to the most common accidents and situations, and is underpinned by relevant theory. The workshop has been adapted to focus specifically on sport. Find out more
Funding and Promoting Your Club (Running Sport)
Every sports club could use more money. If you need to know how to raise cash more effectively for your club, then this course will provide you with practical knowledge about generating funds from all kinds of sources. If you need to get more club members, generate more publicity to attract or keep sponsors or promote a specific event for spectators or particpants then this is the workshop for you. Find out more
Sports Coach UK Good Practice & Child Protection
Examine your own practice and recognise your responsibilities in protecting children from abuse. Protect yourself, the young people and your coaches by understanding good practice. Learn about child abuse and how to handle situations if you have concerns. Find out more
Volunteer Centre Workshops and Courses
Volunteer Centres offer a range of workshops and courses to help voluntary organsiations such as clubs. Each Centre has a different programme of courses usually including Trustee Training, Communication skills and funding workshops. Find out more
