Sports Club road show rides into town

A sport club development road show is being held in Daventry next week to provide help and support to local sports clubs.
 
A number of free workshops will be available for anyone who wishes to attend, and the event will also provide information about club development programmes and support structures across the county.
 
The road show has been organised by Daventry District Council in partnership with Northamptonshire Sport and will be held on Wednesday, March 25, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm in the Saxon Suite in Daventry Leisure Centre.
 
Clubs attending the event will have the opportunity to put their questions to sports development professionals and attend workshops to learn about club accreditation, funding and developing volunteers.
 
The first 20 clubs to sign up to the road show will each receive a free training voucher that can be redeemed against coach education courses hosted by Northamptonshire Sport throughout 2009.
