Sports charity launches ultimate toolkit for women

DSC 6874

The Women's Sport and Fitness Foundation (WSFF) have launched a unique digital toolkit for sports organisers and deliverers looking to target women.

The toolkit provides practical information on setting up, launching and marketing the offer to the different female audiences and includes a range of detailed, downloadable factsheets

You can also create a bespoke 'kit' that rpovides advice and handy tips on how to run successful activities for a female audience.

Sue Tibballs, Chief Executive of the Sports and Fitness Foundation, said:

"We wanted to create a resource that was rich with ideas, easy to use and could be tailored to support programmes for different female audiences and levels of activities - the digital toolkit does just this. We've received excellent feedback from those using it already, with many saying how the hints and tips have helped them refine their offer for women and even attract more.

"The toolkit was created by collating our existing research into a usable guide and talking to different sports and fitness practitioners that are already running some exciting sports and fitness projects for women."

The toolkit also includes a great guide to marketing activity - from using social media and designing posters to writing press releases to publicise particular programmes for women. The kit will be regularly updated and users can add to their resource continually with new materials and information.
