Save £5 on Run 11 Entry

Run Northamptonshire

With less than 3 weeks to go before this year's Run '11 event, organisers have sent out a reminder to all those still thinking of taking part on the 2nd October to get their entries in quick.

Chris Holmes, event spokesman and Director of Northamptonshire Sport, said: "We're really excited about the number of people who have already entered and remaining places are filling up rapidly so anyone wavering about whether to give it a go or not needs to get their entry in sharpish".

Enter by Monday 19th September and you can save £5 and avoid the late entry fee. The final deadline for online entries is Tuesday 27th Sept although organisers are advising to enter as soon as possible in order to get race information, numbers and timing chips out to participants in good time.

Mr Holmes added "The Run '11 is for everyone. We'll have racers, runners, joggers, strollers and walkers taking part. Whatever pace you want to do it at that's fine. It's about taking part and at the same time having fun, taking on a challenge and perhaps getting a bit fitter in the process"!

The Run'11 promises to provide a great experience for both participants and spectators. A number of music hotspots are on the course to help gee up any flagging legs and enthuse the crowds. Northamptonshire's Music and Performing Arts Training Band will be playing on the steps of the Guildhall and other bands will be playing at various locations.

It's a fantastic opportunity to raise money for charity - either you own or one of our partner charities - The Stroke Association, Macmillan Cancer Support, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, Northamptonshire Community Foundation and The Lowdown.

There is still time to enter this year's event, do some training and get sponsors. To enter, get training tips and more visit www.the-run.org
