Kick it Out!
On Friday 29th October, a 'Kick It Out' tournament was hosted by the Borough Council of Wellingborough Sports Development Unit, in conjunction with Northamptonshire County Football Association and Cultural Community Partnerships at Redwell Leisure Centre in Wellingborough.
Kick It Out is a campaign that focuses on promoting positive attitudes amongst everyone involved in football in order to achieve equality and fair treatment for people of all backgrounds.
The tournament, which was held to raise the awareness of Kick It Out and its values, saw 4 local teams enter to compete for the Kick It Out Cup in a 5-a-side tournament.
Well done to all those who attended, the day was a great success with all 4 teams showing great sportsmanship and football throughout all the games. The combined U11's and U12's teams all played 8 games each which included 6 opening games followed by 2 matches for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place titles.
All teams received Kick It Out merchandise including a t-shirt, badges, sweat bands and a poster along with medals for 1st and 2nd place teams and a Kick It Out Cup for the winning team.

3rd - Falcons Youth FC
