International Paralympic Day

Dermot Bailey

Today Thursday 8th September is International Paralympic Day and the event is being marked by a massive event celebrating disability sport in London's Trafalgar Square.

Northamptonshire is being represented in the event by 17 year old Dermot Bailey from Kettering who is the Number 1 Junior Wheelchair Tennis player in Great Britain and also ranked 9th in the world. He will be joining 2 of his British team mates for a game of Wheelchair Tennis with Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.
