Go Spike!

This summer England Volleyball will be running a host of Go Spike sessions around England where anyone can turn up and have a go at volleyball.

Whether you've never played before and want to give it a go, or you haven't played since you were at school - or on holiday - Go Spike is your chance to have a go FREE! Come on your own, or bring your friends, and get involved in a game.

The following sessions are taking place in Northamptonshire:

Date: 25 June

Location: Wicksteed Park, Kettering

Event: Kettering Kite Fete

Times: 11:00 - 4:00

Other info: Half an hour taster sessions for groups, serving and spiking competitions with prizes, fundraising for new team kit for NLPV

Date: 3rd July

Location:close to 'Northampton International Stadium.'close to the village of Brafield on the Green, in Northamptonshire.Situated on acres of farm land off The Horton Road, between Brafield-on-the-Green and Horton, the site can be easily accessed from the A428, which can be reached from junction 14 or 15 of the M1.

Event: Northamptonshire Country Fair

Times: 9:30 - 5:30

Location: Rushden

Event: Rushden Day In the Park

Times: 1:00 - 5:00 possibly stay longer - the event is on till 11 pm

Other info: Will work with Rushden Raiders - the ONLY accredited club in Northants

Location: Daventry Leisure Centre

Event: Olympic Open Weekend
