FA Leadership and Volunteering Camp 2009

The Football Association National Camp is taking place from Monday 13th July – Friday 17th July 2009 and will involve a whole variety of learning opportunities around leadership skills, team building and football in general. The event will be run by National FA staff and cover awhole breadth of football disciplines, from learning about coaching and refereeing, to sports science and goalkeeping, and on to disability football and the new and exciting game of 5-a-side called futsal!

Prior to the FA National Camp, Northamptonshire FA will be running a county event at Moulton College, Pitsford Road, Moulton, NN3 7RR. (Holcot Centre, gate 3) on three separate dates which you should attend:

Thursday 19th March 6pm – 7.30pm Introduction / Team Building

Saturday 21st March 10am – 12pm Practical Coaching Sessions

Saturday 28th March 10am – 12pm Practical Coaching Sessions

From these events the best two male and female leaders will be selected to attend the East Midlands Regional camp on Thursday 16th April (Easter Holidays) in Leicester. These events will cost you absolutely nothing but will give you a huge amount of information and knowledge around leadership and coaching.

Following the regional event the best two leaders from Northamptonshire will then be selected for The FA national event!

The deadline for your application to be with Northamptonshire FA is Wednesday 11th March 2009 and unfortunately late applications can’t be considered, so ensure you complete all the relevant sections and get this signed and completed in time.
