Doran selected for England

Northants and Westfield Table Tennis ace Chris Doran has been selected by the ETTA to represent England at the Finlandia Open in Helsinki.

A previous winner of the Northamptonshire Young Sportsman of the Year award and recipient of a Northamptonshire Champions Fund award, Doran was a member of the victorious England team at the recent Six Nations event in Basildon, which involved players from England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.

The Finlandia Open is the 22nd running of the ITTF tournament and runs from the 8th-11th December 2011.
