100th Sport Maker signs up in Northamptonshire

This week saw Francis Banks become the 100th willing volunteer begin their Northamptonshire Sport Maker journey in a quest to make sport happen for other adults.

Just over 100 Sport Makers have already attended an inspirational workshop in Northamptonshire and are pledging to make sport happen for others but we aren't going to stop there!

Free, interactive workshops will take place across the county in 2012 for anyone over the age of 16 that might be interested in becoming a Sport Maker and creating an Olympic legacy in Northamptonshire. We will work with Sport Makers to find suitable opportunities or support the creation of new sports activities in the local community.
