Northamptonshire Sport Stakeholders Group

The Stakeholder Group meets four times per year and brings together all organisations that currently invest, work with or who have shared aims with Northamptonshire Sport. The stakeholder group is  responsible for:

• Developing, endorsing and ensuring the implementation of the co-ordinated long-term strategic plan for sport, physical activity and recreation in Northamptonshire, 'Growing Northamptonshire through the Power of Sport’
• Supportingt he allocation of funding and resource, to service the development of sport and physical activity in the county.
• Advising in the development of county wide strategies driven by local needs that reflect and influence national strategies.
• Acting as a forum for all agencies and organisations interested in sport, physical activity and recreation to co-ordinate their provision and development in order to achieve the Vision for Sport and the four Strategic Aims.
• Raising the profile of sport, physical activity and recreation in Northamptonshire.
• Attracting other sources of funding to support the aims of Northamptonshire Sport.
