CSV Make a Difference Day
CSV Make a Difference Day is the flagship campaign of CSV (Community Service Volunteers), the largest volunteering organisation in the UK. This year CSV will inspire over 110,000 people to give one day of time to change their communities. The two week Campaign runs from 21st October – 4th November 2006. Northamptonshire Sport Core Team and Northamptonshire County Council Sports Development Team have been inspired to give up 2 days of their time in order to help out within a sports club or sports based organisation or community based organisation.
The teams will be offering their services on Saturday 28th October for the Hearts First Walk, Saints with Heart 5 to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. The team will be volunteering their time to support the event which is a choice of six sponsored walks of varying distances all ending up at Franklins Gardens, Home of Northampton Rugby Club “The Saints”.
On Thursday 2nd November, the teams will be volunteering their time to help a sports club or sports based organisation or a community based organisation e.g. does your sports club house need painting? Is there somewhere in need of some gardening?
Do you need some extra volunteers to help out for the day?
