Northamptonshire Sport Quality Assurance
Northamptonshire Sport is committed to providing a high quality service to all its partners and end users. In order to achieve this we are conitinually looking to improve the standard of our work. We do this by constantly reviewing our existing practices by consulting with our users and partners, and by using nationally recognised quality standards and examples of good practice to ensure that NSport operates in an effective efficiant manor.
Northamptonshire Sport Service Standards
In order to gain feedback from our users and partners we have developed a Service Standards leaflet, this provides infomation on how to provide feedback (positive or negative) on the service you have experienced.
Quest
Northamptonshire Sport Partnership was the first Sports Partnership in the country to recieve national Quest Accreditation. The Quest Accreditation is an official acknowledgement of a quality assured service and improved management practices used and implemented by Northamptonshire Sport.
2005 saw Northamptonshire Sport continue to improve as it was reassessed by Quest. NSport scored 80%, one fo the highest scores recorded to date, and also a 7% increase on the last full assessment.
Gary Sheppard, Active Sports Manager for Northamptonshire Sport (and lead officer for Quest) said:
"It has been a great team effort over the last two years to move from where we were to our present standards. Quest has been an invaluable aid in our drive to be better. Our goal is to now help others through this rewarding scheme. There are still areas of improvement but by going through the process we know where they are and we will be working to address them over the next two years."
Achieving Racial Equality
Northamptonshire Sport Partnership was the first Sports Partnership within the East Midlands to achieve the Preliminary Level of the Sporting Equals Achieving Racial Equality: A Standard for Sport.
